Don’t forget: you should always have breakfast before leaving the house!

Try not to go longer than three and a half hours without eating, but intervals between meals shouldn’t be less than two hours. Teach this to your kids.

Children between 3 to 10 years old should drink 3 to 5 glasses of water daily. Children older than this should drink 6 to 10 glasses every day.

Whenever you can, choose whole grain cereals and bread with no added sugar, honey, chocolate or other ingredients.

Try not to focus mealtimes just on eating: use them as an opportunity to sit together and talk about your day, without any rush.

Read food labels carefully even when a product is described as light, whole grain or sugar free.

Bear in mind that the eating habits your children acquire in childhood will continue into their future lives.
